Whit's Big Party!

Whit's birthday party finally got here on Saturday at the local kids' amusement park (even though he doesn't officially turn four until next Sat.). It seemed to be everything he had hoped for: he played putt-putt, rode some rides at Kiddie-Land, had some of his close buddies on hand, had cup-cakes/ice cream, plenty of Mickey Mouse stuff and scored some sweet toys. He smiled and laughed a lot that day. (-:

Paul's ears have continued to improve , and he has told us many times how much better he feels. We all went to church this morning for the first time in quite a while. It's such a blessing any time it works out that way. We could never do all the things we do without a wonderful body of believers behind us at our church and everywhere else. Getting to go to church reminds us of that fact.

Leigh and Paul leave for NYC late Monday afternoon. Because of your generosity and prayers we will have few if any out-of-pocket expenses. Pray on for healing and for a logistically smooth trip.
