A few people have wondered what we did for Paul's birthday. We had friends join us to celebrate at one of Paul's favorite places to eat - Fuddrucker's. Then, we went to our house and continued the party with a NASCAR cake, this year it was #11 Denny Hamlin, and we played "Paul games" like UNO, Skip-Bo, SORRY!, and Sequence. We watched some Paul home videos and looked at some pictures. We were so happy to have our friends with us to help us focus our grief on happier things. All these things will continue to signify the best memories of Paul. Still, it's less of a party when the person of honor is not present.

This weekend, I hope you will tune into the Daytona 500. When you see that green flag fall...think of Paul. That's what we will be doing.

Watched the tribute slideshow for Paul and found myself moved by his short life. The pictures document a loved and loving boy with an unafraid smile, being held close by so many. Oh what a great job you did with what time God gave you to be stewards of Paul. He lived a lifetime in some ways.
