Camping, hiking and fishing

Last Friday I decided it was time to get these two boys out of the house for a weekend of camping, hiking and fishing...three of my favorite things to do. So, we packed up our gear and headed out. Anytime you have the combination of boys, fire, a hatchet and pocket knives...you have the necessary ingredients for fun (or a trip to the ER). We had a nice time together (with only minor injuries), but I was constantly reminded that Paul wasn't with us. I don't think that will ever change.

What great pictures.
Of course you will always miss Paul and think of him...he is a special part of your heart and soul...and always will be.

Glad you and your boys were able to do that and enjoy! Praying for you all, as always, as you make new memories (and lots of dirty laundry) together while cherishing the old ones (the memories, not the laundry)!

. . . but Paul's love is in your hearts, so he was a part of everything you touched and did. He will always be part of what you do. He is in your very being. lk

Love those pictures - - -looks like yall probably arrived home respectably stinky! I am sure that with every new memory you make as a family, you will also be remembering Paul. But he is surely watching you all with joy as you have fun together and as you think of Paul. Much love - - we continue to pray.
