Back Pain
I took Paul up to FW today and will take him for his last day of chemo tomorrow. As this week has progressed so has pain in Paul's lower back. Based on his last MIBG scan he has known areas of disease in the area that hurts, but it is not clear yet if this pain is a result of disease. One of these drugs has lower back pain as a possible side effect. At anyrate, Paul is pretty uncomfortable. We are going to do another MIBG scan next week to evaluate that area as well as others. If Paul's disease is moving forward it will make urgent our decision for the next step in treatment. We will be meeting with our FW doc soon to look at some options. For now, please pray against pain, and pray for Leigh and I to know what to do next. We're both pretty tired of thinking about it.
Also, Whit get's better then comes down with something else. Please pray that he will get better soon and stay that way. Two sickies are a real challenge. Praise the Lord that Jack has an immune system of steel! (-:

Praying that the lower back pain is due to medication and will go away very soon, that Whit is feeling great in no time, that God will give you and Leigh guidance in your decision making...and, of course, for Paul's healing.
The pictures are outstanding. Thank you so much for posting them. They are all wonderful... the "naptime" photo is amazing.
God bless and keep each of you in His tender loving care,
KG
I ask God to take away Paul's back pain and pray that it is a result of the medication, that Whit is back on his feet soon, peace and guidance for you as parents and give thanks for Jack's health.
Thank you for sharing the special Thanksgiving pictures!
May God Bless You All!
